    PRESIDENT

    Mór Szepesi is a junior from Budapest, Hungary, in Ezra Stiles College, double majoring in Economics and Philosophy. Before his election as President, he served as Junior and Senior Treasurer of the YPU and Chairman of the PoR. His main interests include political philosophy, theater criticism, Formula 1, traveling, and cooking.

    Avi Rao is a Junior in Pauli Murray College from New York City and Clinton, NY, double-majoring in Global Affairs and History. At the moment, he’s interested in Global Macroeconomics and Cold War Latin America. Outside of Yale, he enjoys cooking, eating, telling people about his apple orchard, rooting for the New York Jets, and hiking the Northeast.

    Savan Parikh is a sophomore in Ezra Stiles College from Guilford, Connecticut. He is a member of the Progressive Party and is double majoring in Architecture and History. In his free time, Savan loves to play soccer, do word puzzles, and hike.

    Joe Gicante is a Sophomore from Petersburg, Texas majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics, and pursuing a certificate in Medieval Studies. Outside of YPU, Joe is the President of the Yale Undergraduate Texas Club and a lock for the Yale Men’s Rugby team.

    Kai-Shan is a sophomore majoring in Physics & Philosophy, though he is most interested in the evolution of the U.S.-China relationship in the era of TikTok, tariffs, and Trump. Outside of the YPU, he trains with Yale’s Triathlon team and performs improv comedy.

    Richie George is a junior from New Jersey studying history and philosophy, with interests in constitutional theory, political philosophy, and intellectual history. They love swimming, speculative fiction, and cooking for friends and family.

    Zavian Valedón is a Junior from Reisterstown, Maryland, studying Ethics, Politics, and Economics. His interests focus on political economy, widespread economic opportunity, and political thought shaped by the modern media ecosystem. Outside of Union, you can find him playing volleyball, solving Rubik's Cubes, or enjoying comedy.

    Jason Lampert is a sophomore in Benjamin Franklin College from Roswell, Georgia. Majoring in History with an emphasis in Assyriology, outside of the classroom, Jason serves as a peer tutor for the Directed Studies program, a volunteer income tax filer for VITA, a research team lead for the Yale Youth Poll, and a Senior Data Fellow for Decision Desk HQ. In his (very little) free time, you can find him listening to ‘80s music, playing (and often losing at) chess, and reading a good book.

    Stephen Morris is a junior in Pauli Murray College from New York City. He is a Political Science major with a certificate in French, and he loves discussing foreign policy, languages, and New York history. Outside of Union, he is the president of the Yale Traditional Architecture Club and a member of the Yale Glee Club.

    Alessandra Pappalardi is a junior in Trumbull College studying the History of Medicine, completing a B.A./M.A. in Political Science, and pursuing an Italian certificate. Currently, she is completing two research projects on experimental pluralism and small-town conflict resolution, respectively. Beyond Yale, Alessandra can be found perfecting her Italian accent, enjoying musical theatre or traveling home to New Rochelle, New York.

    Shem is a sophomore in Saybrook College studying Political Science and Philosophy. Outside of the Union Shem is the Vice President of Yale Men’s Club Basketball and a member of MUNTY, Yale’s premier intercollegiate competitive model United Nations team.

    Bryce Falkoff is a freshman in Trumbull College from Tucson, Arizona. He is a prospective Applied Mathematics & Cognitive Science major and is a member of the Party of the Right. In his free time, Bryce loves to compose music, 3D model, and cook when and if he has time!

    Lino Lopez is a freshman from Runge, Texas, in Trumbull College, and majoring in Political Science. Some of his other hobbies outside YPU include Marine Option NROTC, and debating at the PoR. His main interests include writing, political philosophy, powerlifting, and Chinese Language Study.

    Rishi Gurudevan is a freshman from New Canaan, Connecticut, in Ezra Stiles College studying Classics and Political Science. Outside of the Union, he is involved with the Yale College Democrats and the Yale Existential Risk Initiative. Outside of these obligations, you can find him binge-listening to Classic Rock and cheering on the Los Angeles Rams.
