PRESIDENT

Savan Parikh is a junior History major in Ezra Stiles College from Guilford, Connecticut. He is a member of the Progressive Party of the Yale Political Union. In his free time, Savan loves to play soccer, do word puzzles, and hike.

Kai-Shan Kwek-Rupp studies Physics and Philosophy, with a minor in Mandarin.

VICE PRESIDENT

Jason Lampert is a junior in Benjamin Franklin College studying political history. Outside of the classroom you can find him working as a data analyst and a volunteer tax-filer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing chess, and listening to 1980s music.

Joe Gicante is a junior from Petersburg, Texas majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics and pursuing a Medieval Studies certificate. He is viceroy for the Federalist Party, as well as the founder of the Yale Texas Club, the starting lock for Yale Men's Rugby, and a member of KNX.

JUNIOR TREASURER

Quinten Jin is an undergraduate at Yale University studying Computer Science and Mathematics. His research interests include machine learning, Vision-Language-Action, and Vision-Language Models. Beyond his technical work, he holds a deep interest in philosophy and religion.

FLOOR LEADER OF THE RIGHT

Jason Cao is a sophomore from Guilford, CT studying Ethics, Politics, and Economics. He enjoys playing the flute, the piano, and composing chamber music. If he is not in the music practice room, you will find him playing Go, poker, and bridge, or writing traditional Chinese poetry.

FLOOR LEADER OF THE LEFT

Fernanda Wambier is a sophomore majoring in neuroscience. She is a member of the Independent Party (IP) of the YPU. She can be found studying navigation in the lab, playing poker with friends, reading Symbolist poetry, or having conversations about normative ethics in a buttery.

Audrey Stankunas is from Granville, Ohio and is majoring in Political Science and Architecture. Outside of the PoL and the YPU she’s involved with the Yale Record, the Ski Team, and the Yale Community Kitchen.

CHAIR OF THE PROGRESSIVE PARTY

Massimo Mejía is from Philadelphia and is majoring in Global Affairs with an Intensive Certificate in Human Rights. A proud Ecuadorian and Italian-American, he is committed to infrastructural development and the protection of immigrant communities, and enjoys playing music.

Josh Blake is a Junior in Morse College. He’s always excited to practice his Spanish, flex his southern cooking skills, or read something new. He’s a proud IPster and always hoping to challenge himself and his peers.

Morgan Vannell is an English major in Morse College. He is a Catholic from Northern Virginia.

Lofty-John Anyanwu is the Chairman of the Tory Party. He is a junior at Yale College.

Mark Lee is a junior in Grace Hopper College majoring in Ethics, Politics, and Economics. A former Chairman of the Party of the Right, he often spends his time contemplating the fall of empires and the peculiar taste of Martinelli's Apple Juice.

Corinne Cowan is a sophomore in Davenport College studying history. A member of the Conservative Party, she is interested in the American political tradition, medieval political philosophy, and Romantic poetry.

Stephen Van Cortlandt Morris is a senior majoring in Political Science. He is also in the Yale Glee Club and the Yale Traditional Architecture Club.

Rishi is a sophomore in Ezra Stiles College studying History and Political Science. Outside the Union, you likely can find him listening to rock music and spending time around New Haven.

Abigail Nissley is a junior studying Global Affairs from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, specifically interested in anti-human trafficking. She joined YPU because she believes in the power of dialogue to create stronger social systems. Outside of the Union, she leads a Bible study.

Tobias Broun is a junior in Berkeley College studying Mathematics and Economics. He is a member of the Federalist Party.

Ember McMullen is a junior in Grace Hopper College studying Global Affairs and Climate Science. Originally from Dillon, Colorado, she can be found producing music for the on-campus record label, debating virtue ethics, or misusing the French subjunctive tense.

Sumaiya Bangura is a Political Science and Film & Media Studies major. She is a member of the Progressive Party. She also works with Yale Football, serves on the Spring Fling Committee, and is an assistant at the Gilder Lehrman Center for the Study of Slavery, Resistance and Abolition.

Sygne Stole is a proud member of the Independent Party, as well as an Applied Mathematics major in TD. She came to the Union and the IP to challenge her beliefs, and also found a community of friends. Sygne enjoys painting, digital artwork, philosophy, and tabletop roleplaying games.

Aidan Wong is a Sophomore in Morse College intending to double major in History and Economics. Hailing from London, he drinks copious amounts of tea, pines for the pub, and swears that nothing beats British television.
